Good condition in a fair dustwrapper. Red boards, black title to spine. B/w illustrations.

Spine and corners bumped. Small dent and a small mark to edges of front cover. Name and address in ink to front free-endpaper and some other writing blotted out also. Heavy foxing to textblock and page margins. Dustwrapper is badly worn/rubbed with faint cup mark to front panel and grubby to rear panel. Last title listed on rear panel of wrapper is no. 64 (Biggles Takes it Rough).

  • Biggles receives an anonymous letter asking him to go to the Adlon Restaurant in Bank Street Kensington at quarter to one precisely and sit at table number two. There he would be joined by someone who will give him information.
  • "You can't come to much harm in Kensington" said Bertie. But the anonymous letter sets Biggles off on the trail of three murders in a thrilling story of espionage which takes him and he Air Police to West Berlin.
