Very good condition. Containing about 2800 figures accurately coloured after nature. A New and Entirely revised edition with ancient and modern appellations, synonyms, localities, etc, etc. Three-quarter green leather binding with marbled paper boards. Raised bands to spine with gilt title and decorative tooling. 46 exquisite handcoloured plates. Top edge gilt.
Leather spine & corners a little scuffed and worn. Marbled boards scuffed, rubbed at edges. Bookplate to front pastedown. Front joint only just starting to crack (very minor). A few scattered foxspots. All plates present. A lovely copy.
