Very good condition. Four volumes in six, complete. Large format. Green cloth boards, gilt titles. Colour & monochrome tissue-guarded plates. B/w line drawings to text & b/w photos. Top edges gilt. Volume I. Thallophyta. Bryophyta. Pteridophyta. Gymnospermae. Dicotyledones: Part I. [Orders I - XI] Piperales-Rhoeadales. (1913) Volume II. Dicotyledones: Part II. [Orders XII - XX] Rosales - Umbelliflorae. (1925) Volume III. Dicotyledones: Part. III. Sympetalae. (1932) Volume IV. Monocotyledones. (1915) Volume IV is rare as the majority were destroyed in a warehouse fire in 1926. After this time, volume IV is found to be missing plate 59.

All volumes are first edition as per year of publication 1913-1932. Spine of volume I and IV fading. Volume IV cloth is fading/blotched. A few marks to covers. All plates present throughout. Plates 37 & 39 in volume I are loose. Scattered foxing throughout each volume (mainly volume I and IV), some plates affected. Plate 59 in volume IV present. Some blank guards detached.
