His letters, presented in chronological sequence and dating from 1684 to 1704, throw new light upon the first materials upon which he founded his new Sciences. Part of the Oxford Books on the History of Science series. Blue cloth, gilt title to spine. 5 b/w plates and numerous text illustrations. 576 pages includes index.
All plates present. Spine and corners very slightly bumped and rubbed. Spine slightly faded with one small mark. A few small foxspots to endpapers, pages lightly tanned else contents clean.
