Good condition. Third Edition. Complete in one volume. Three-quarter leather binding with raised bands and gilt title to spine, blue cloth boards. Blue marbled endpapers. Top edge gilt. Numerous b/w illustrations.
Leather spine is amateurishly repaired at front and rear edge with cloth which is peeling off the front side. Corners lightly rubbed. Rear joint pulled apart but binding tight. Heavy foxing to prelims and last few pages and a few scattered foxspots to contents.
