Good condition. Pictorial front board by Topham showing children with puppies. Cream Spine with black titles and vignette. Orange and green flowered endpapers. Colour plates and b/w text illustrations throughout. First story is "The Hole In The Road" by Madeline Barnes.
Bumping and wear to spine, corners and cover edges, tiny split to base of spine. Front cover is grubby with some scratches and pencil marks. Both joints cracked showing webbing beneath, front endpaper detached, rear endpaper almost detached with ragged edges. A couple of hinges cracked. Colouring to a couple of illustrations and crossword completed in pencil. Contents generally clean. Odd margin tear. All plates present but one has a tear and the frontis is partially detached.
