Slightly better than good condition. Black spine and corners, green boards with embossed foliage pattern. Colour plates and b/w text illustrations. Large heavy format. Vol XIX No. 927 October 2, 1897 to No. 978 September 24, 1898.
Spine is bumped and worn with some nicks and loss to ends, 2" split to front edge. Heavy wear to corners and grubby marks/stains to covers. Front joint cracked. Small tear to outside edge of first four pages. Small area coloured on illustration on first text page, colour has travelled through to next two pages. Light foxing. A couple of pages have creased corners. Endpapers browned. Small bookseller's label to rear pastedown. A few marks to text block. Contents generally clean.
