Good condition. Dark yellow pictorial cloth with black titles to spine. Green titles and vignette of Mother Goose to front cover. 12 colour plates plus numerous b/w illustrations. 224 pages. 9 x 6.75".
Bumping and wear to spine and corners. Top of boards bumped. Covers are grubby. Front joint beginning to crack. Several hinges cracked. Browning to endpapers. 1 plate is MISSING. Page 161 and most of page 160 coloured pink -possible paint. Surface paper damage and light yellow colouring to illustration on page 11. Colouring to some illustrations. Corner torn off one page. Foxing and fingering to contents.
