Very good condition. Red pictorial cloth shows in gilt, red and black two children reading surrounded by spring flowers and ivy decorations, gilt title block. Pictorial endpapers of seasons. B/w illustrations. Colour frontis. 380 pages. Serial stories are The Mystery at Shoncliff School and Dolly's Golden Slippers.
Spine bumped and slightly faded. Tiny amount of wear to corners. A couple of small marks to covers and darkening to some cover edges. Front joint cracked behind title page and prelims starting to detach from top next to this but held firmly in place by endpapers. Tiny ink stamp to top edge of verso of endpaper. Contents very good just some light browning and foxing, mainly to endpapers, prelims and text block.
