Almost very good condition in a slightly better than good dustwrapper. Mr. Ratcliff, housemaster of the New House, causes much trouble among the footballers at a soccer match with Harry Wharton & Co. of Greyfriars. Blue boards, gilt title to spine. 188 pages.

Spine and corners bumped. Browning to board edges. Inscription in ink to front endpaper. Creasing to prelims. Light browning to page edges otherwise contents generally clean. Dustwrapper is edge worn with some tears and chips. Some of the tears have been mended on verso with clear tape. Spine a little faded. Rear panel grubby.
