TREASURE AT THE MILL

by Malcolm Saville

Illustrated by Harry Pettit

Published by George Newnes. 1st. 1957

Almost very good condition in a slightly better than good dustwrapper. When John Adams discovered Sprig Valley Mill it was empty: he often went there to play in the deserted garden and take the boat across the pond to an island. Suddenly all changed. The Mill was sold and although the new owners became his friends eager to help him, someone else - an enemy - was also after the hidden treasure. Yellow boards. B/w illustrations. 152 pages.

A little bumping to spine and corners. Browning to bottom of spine. Prize presentation plate to verso of front endpaper. Browning to endpapers and page edges, otherwise contents are clean. Pictorial dustwrapper is edge worn and creased with a few small tears and a small piece missing from the bottom of the spine. Browning to spine. Wrapper is a little grubby. Some browning to verso. Wrapper is price-cut.
