Almost very good condition in a slightly better than good dustwrapper. A "Michael and Mary" book. In this, the 4th story about Michael and Mary Bishop and their Scotty dog Dougal, they have an exciting adventure in the curious country of the great landslip, on the Dorset coast between Lyme Regis and Seaton. Cream boards, green titles. B/w illustrations.
A little bumping to spine, corners and cover edges. Some foxing and yellowed tape marks to covers. Neat ink inscription to front endpaper. Some browning to endpapers and foxing to page edges. Contents smell slightly of smoke. Dustwrapper is edge worn and creased with some loss at base of spine. Large tear to top of spine has been repaired on verso with tape, now yellowed. Pink stains to rear panel.
