Very good condition in a slightly better than good dustwrapper. A circus in the town; and Susan and Bill had tickets for it! Red boards with black titles and vignette to front cover. Colour frontis + b/w illustrations.

Spine and corners bumped and worn, two small bumps to top edge of front cover. Very faint erased writing to front endpaper. Text pages clean. Foxing to text block. Price-cut dustwrapper is edge worn with a few small tears and chips, some small pieces of loss. Rear panel slightly grubby.

But then they met John who was obviously in trouble and who had to be helped. And Janice, the lovely white poodle from the circus, was lost and had to be found.
