Very good condition in a very good dustwrapper. This exciting and fast-moving story is the 16th adventure of the Lone Piners once more set against the background of the Shropshire hills. Green covers, gilt titles and Lone Pine vignette. Maps to endpapers. B/w illustrations. 183 pages.

Spine bumped and slightly faded. Tiny brown spot to rear cover. Contents generally clean, brown mark to top corner of page 173. Foxing, mainly to text block and endpapers. Dustwrapper is edge worn with a couple of chips and small tear to base of rear fold. Rear panel ever so slightly grubby.
