Very good condition in a almost very good dustwrapper. A 'New Naturalist' publication. Green cloth. A study of Britain's 24 diurnal raptors.16 b/w plates, with 15 plates including at least 2 photographic studies. This book contains a wealth of scientific information on 15 resident, 7 vagrant and 2 migrant species of eagles, falcons, hawks and vultures in Britain. The detailed tables, maps, figures and bibliography indicate the depth of research in this study.
Wrapper is price-cut with uneven fading to spine and front panel; couple of closed tears; some nicks, but very minimal loss. Creased to rear panel with a few marks.
