Almost very good condition. Brown cloth, gilt titles and vignette to front cover. 20 beautiful tipped-in colour plates. 319 pages. Published by Hodder for Boots The Chemist.

Bumping and wear to spine and corners. A few small marks to covers. 1.5" crack to paper covering rear joint. One joint starting to crack. Piece torn from top of two pages in prelims, approx 0.75 x 0.5" from each. Pencil numbers to front pastedown. Marks to lower margins from contents page to page 19. Small piece missing from lower edge of pages 159 and 161. A few grubby fingermarks but contents generally clean. Some foxing, mostly to endpapers, prelims and page edges. All plates present and in lovely condition.
