KING ORVILLE AND THE BULLFROGS
Illustrated by Errol Le Cain
Published by Faber & Faber. 1st. 1976
Very good condition in a very good dustwrapper. King Orville was always looking for people to compete with and he always won - until he met Horace, Boris and Maurice. Then everyone found out that he was a terrible loser! The results of his fury were very odd indeed! A story told with verve and humour while Le Cain's brilliantly inventive illustrations make the most of every nonsensical detail in beautiful pastel colours. A more unusual Le Cain item. Light blue boards with silver title to spine. Oblong format. 48 pages.
Spine and corners slightly bumped and rubbed. Foxing to textblock else contents fine. Dustwrapper is faintly browned at front edges and ever so slightly grubby to rear panel.
