SIGNED by the author (also penned M.E.Allan below) to front endpaper. Minimal bumping to spine and corners. Photographic dustwrapper is slightly rubbed at edges and just a little grubby to rear panel.

  • Drina returns after a wonderful holiday in New York to a year's hard work at the Dominick School of Ballet. She has a leading part in the Christmas play, and then is given a wonderful chance of dancing in Paris with her old friend Rose.
  • Drina is growing up fast. She is now fifteen, and in the stage of transition between the schoolgirl who lives for lessons at the Dominick School and the young woman with a growing interest in people, places and things of beauty.
