Fine condition in a very good dustwrapper. The "Daylight" train was among the most popular of the "name" trains operated on American main line rails in the 1940's and 1950's. Equally popular were the steam locomotives that provided the motive power for those colourful trains. This is the story of the one surviving Daylight locomotive, engine No. 4449. Large format. Black boards, silver title to spine and logo to front. B/w photos. 64 pages including index.

Orange pictorial dustwrapper is faded to spine, worn at top & tail of spine, small closed edge tear to top edge of rear panel.
