Very good condition. Simple concepts on hot air balloons and aerial navigation. Small format. Rebacked with blue morocco leather to spine with raised bands and gilt title. Blue cloth boards with gilt title and title decoration. Marbled endpapers. Frontis by Albert Tissandier plus 36 b/w illustrations to text by G. Mathieu. Text in French.
Morocco spine lightly rubbed. Covers a little scuffed and marked. '1877' written in blue pencil to bottom of half-title page. Some light scattered foxing else a lovely copy of a scarce item.
