Covers are grubby and marked. Spine bumped, worn and browned. Corners bumped and worn. A couple of hinges cracked. Small burn hole to margin of page 81/82. Endpapers lightly browned. A few grubby marks and an odd fox spot to contents.

  • Although Bunter was not noted for his cycling prowess, it was a fact that he needed a new bicycle as his old one had not been repaired by any other Removite, though he had mentioned the matter more than once. There was the difficulty of finding the purchase money but eventually Bunter evolved the scheme of ordering the boke and sending the bill to his father. Unfortunately his father did not approve and the bill rebounded. Bunter then frantically tried to find a way of paying Parker's cycles. This included entering for the Latin prize and following the sport of kings.
