Almost very good condition in a good dustwrapper. Light blue boards with dark blue titles. Colour frontis. B/w illustrations. 236 pages plus booklist.

Cover edges browned, loss of colour at top edge of front and rear covers. Some faint marks to prelims and a few foxspots to egde of textblock. Contents clean. Price-cut wrapper is badly soiled with loss at corners and closed tears repaired on verso.

  • Although Bunter was not noted for his cycling prowess, it was a fact that he needed a new bicycle as his old one had not been repaired by any other Removite, though he had mentioned the matter more than once. There was the difficulty of finding the purchase money but eventually Bunter evolved the scheme of ordering the boke and sending the bill to his father. Unfortunately his father did not approve and the bill rebounded. Bunter then frantically tried to find a way of paying Parker's cycles. This included entering for the Latin prize and following the sport of kings.
