Very good condition in a slightly better than very good dustwrapper. The author lived in Flamborough for a happy dozen years where he came to love this part of the Yorkshire coast and to explore its fascinating history. Green cloth boards, gilt title to spine. B/w illustrations and a few colour plates.
Ink stamp of 'Fond Brigg Lodge Bridlington' to front endpaper and large bookplate of same to front pastedown. Text block browned with some foxing to top edge. Contents generally clean, just a little browning. Pictorial dustwrapper is slightly grubby with light browning and small water spots to spine.
