Almost very good condition. Large format. Green cloth with gilt titles to spines, vignettes to front covers and bottoms of spines. This is the 3rd edition, thoroughly revised and enlarged with many new plates. 248 plates (232 originals & 12 extra plates for this edition).

Bumping and wear to spines and corners; some fraying to cloth. Heavy wear to some edges. Names in ink to prelim pages. Some hinges are pulled. Page edges of some pages are unopened. Volume 3 - plates 105 + 106 are detached. Foxing.
