Why did a man rush out of his house in the middle of the night, in his dressing-gown and slippers, carrying a bundle? Yellow boards, green titles and magnifying glass vignette. B/w illustrations. 179 pages.

Spine and corners bumped. Spine is browned. Couple of white spots to rear panel. Covers are a bit grubby. Top corner of front endpaper has been cut off. Names and addresses in ink to front pastedown and price plate to front endpaper. Joints and a few hinges are cracked. Foxing to endpapers and page edges otherwise contents generally clean. Pencil ticks to some titles in book list at rear of the book.
