THE ISLAND OF ADVENTURE

by Enid Blyton

Illustrated by Stuart Tresilian

Published by Macmillan & Co. Ltd.. 1st. 1944

Very good condition in a almost very good dustwrapper. Cream pictorial cloth. The first book in the "Adventure" series. 326 pages. B/w illustrations.

Light bumping to top and tail of spine and corners. Name and date in ink to front endpaper. A few small ink splashes to outer page edges, parts of which go a little through onto page margins. Some foxing. Wrapper is a little faded in places, with edge-tears and chips; little loss to a few corners; some grubby marks, small damp mark to rear panel. This is 1st edition wrapper - because the 'd' is slightly shorter than the '6' on the price on front flap.
