Almost very good condition in a almost very good dustwrapper. Originally published in 1940 under the pen-name of 'Mary Pollock', and re-issued in 1951. Yellow covers, red titles and name. B/w illustrations. 94 pages.
2nd impression. A little bumping to spine. Slight damage to lower front corner. Surface paper damage with small tear to half-title page, possibly from label removal. Browning to endpapers. Small brown stain to text block. Tiny ink stamp to title page. Just an odd small mark to contents. Dustwrapper is edge worn with slight loss from top of spine, chips to ends of folds. Spine darkened. Rear panel slightly grubby. Small pieces of clear tape to verso to repair tears/chips.
