Almost very good condition in a almost very good dustwrapper. Smuggler Ben was really a fisherboy who loved pretending to be a smuggler. Orange cloth, red titles and small vignette to front cover. Tower House Series. Written under the name of Mary Pollock, a pseudonym of Enid Blyton.

Base of spine bumped. Dark spots (foxing?) to top and bottom of covers. Ink inscription to front pastedown. Some foxing, mainly to endpapers, prelims and text block. Price-cut dustwrapper is edge worn and chipped at ends of spine and folds. Tear to base of spine repaired with clear tape on verso. Small hole near base of front fold. Spine, folds and verso browned. Rear panel slightly grubby. Foxing to verso.
