Almost very good condition in a very good dustwrapper. Twenty-two tales to enchant young readers. Cream cloth, red titles and vignette to front. Two-tone illustrations.

Some pale brown mottling to boards, heavier spot to spine. Name & address label to front pastedown. Foxing to text block and a few foxsppots to contents. Pictorial dustwrapper is lightly edge-rubbed with a few small tears, spine lightly browned.

  • When Rubbalong the cobbler and his remarkable Ma come to settle in Tiptop Village, everyone quickly finds out that it does not pay to offend them or to do anything to harm the good people of the neighbour. Ma knows some useful spells and even without their aid Rubbalong's methods can be extremely effective especially for unpleasant character such as Grabbit and his sister Mrs. Well-I-Never.
