Almost very good condition in a slightly better than good dustwrapper. Red boards black titles. Blue and black pictorial endpapers. Colour frontis. B/w and two-tone illustrations.

Ninth Impression. Edge of top & tail of spine faded else boards clean. Minor foxing to text block and some spots to contents. Lengthy inscription to verso of frontis has been blacked out with marker pen. Erased pencil name & address to verso of front endpaper is just visible. Pictorial dsutwrapper is faded to spine, ede-worna nd chipped, biro tick marks to book list on flaps, rear panel a little scuffed. Front spine edge of dustwrapper repaired to verso where it is not visible with clear tape holding the two halves of the dustwrapper together.
