The 18th Famous Five book. Red boards, black lettering. Pictorial blue, black & white endpapers. Two-tone and b/w illustrations throughout. 183 pages.

Top and bottom of spine a little bumped. Top edges of boards faded. Some browning to endpapers. Some foxing, mainly to page edges. Dustwrapper is edge worn and chipped. Spine is browned. Rear panel is grubby. Foxing to verso.
