Almost very good condition in a fair dustwrapper. The Famous Five in the 9th adventure, alone at Kirrin Cottage with the problem of Gipsy-girl Jo. Red boards. B/w and two-tone illustrations. Blue and white endpapers. 192 pages.

Spine bumped and very slightly darkened. Dark mark to lower corner of front cover. Name in pen to front endpaper, verso of frontis and three times to half-title with phone numbers. Ink splashes to verso of frontis and page opposite. Foxing, mainly to text block. Price-cut dustwrapper is torn, chipped and worn but with little loss. Tape repairs to some tears, messily at front fold and top of front panel. Spine browned. Some foxing.
