Almost very good condition. Ladybird series 401. Brown boards with square pictorial onlay to front and titles. Colour illustrations throughout. Story told in original verse (before it was revised by Perring).
Spine and corners bumped and slightly worn. Some light marks to covers. Some hinges cracked, one open quite widely. Rust spot to inner margins of front endpapers. Light damp stain to edge of rear pastedown which also affects edges of last few pages.
