Almost very good condition. 12 enchanting tipped-in colour plates. Green cloth, gilt titles and decorations. 240 pages. Large format. Published for Boots the Chemist.
Spine and corners bumped and rubbed, front edge of spine has been 'touched up' with green felt-tip(?) pen. Inscription in ink to front endpaper. Foxing and some light fingering else contents clean. Lower corner of half-title torn off and there is a large tear to page 51/2 which has been tape repaired (old tape has left brown mark), affecting page margin only. One tissue-guard is missing but all plates are present and in fine condition.
