The author was involved for over half a century with the marque and puts into perspective the great achievements of the Sunbeam comapany and chronicles race by race, by success and by failure the history of the company, the cars and the racing times. Large oblong format. B/w photos. Cream leather-look cloth. All edges gilt.
Diagonal crease to half-title page. A few foxspots to prelims. Pictorial dustwrapper is creased with a closed tear repair with tape to lower rear spine edge. Contained in publisher's slipcase which is a little grubby.
