Very good condition in a almost very good dustwrapper. Children's Illustrated Classics series. Illustrated by D. Watkins-Pitchford (BB). Cream and orange decorated cloth. 4 colour plates and numerous line drawings.
Minimal bumping to spine and corners. Small dark mark to base of spine. Water/damp mark to edge of front cover which also affects first few pages. Name and address in blue felt pen to half title page. Foxing and light marks to text block. Just a very odd mark to contents. Price-cut dustwrapper is edge worn and chipped with a faded spine. Clear tape stuck to verso of front fold to strengthen damage. Small ink stamp to front fold, blue felt pen squiggle to rear fold. Rear panel slightly grubby.
