Fair condition. Large format. Cloth spine. Pictorial front cover. 11 colour plates (including frontis). B/w illustrations.
Spine and corners are bumped and worn, cloth to spine is frayed and has been stuck down with glue. Covers are scuffed, scored and grubby. There is a large mark to lower edge of front cover (beside spine). Front free-endpaper is missing. 2 plates are loose with ragged edges. There is heavy foxing and fingering to the contents and the half-title page is browned. A fair copy.
