Good condition. Blue pictorial cloth, gilt titles. Pictorial endpapers. Colour frontis plus numerous b/w text and full-page illustrations. A book written in 1915 "for the amusement of my wife and myself at a time when life was not very amusing" - A.A. Milne. Originally published in 1917 with illustrations by H.M. Brock. 269 pages.
Spine and corners bumped and rubbed. Covers grubby. Top corner of front free-endpaper has been neatly removed. Front joint cracked (between endpaper and half-title). Foxing to contents. Some hinges cracked causing contents to be a little loose.
