Well, the clocks may have gone back last weekend but we're still having some lovely sunny days in the Wye Valley and there's plenty of wildlife around: buzzards have been circling and calling along the wooded valley, you might catch a fleeting glimpse of deer dashing through the Forest, and a couple of days ago an otter was seen bounding along the river bank. Well worth a visit if you are looking for a short break!
We have received another excellent collection of ornithology books and they will be added over the coming weeks, alongside regular additions of Transport, Topography and Military.
As we head inexorably towards the festive season, don't forget to look out for our Special Offers on items from the Special Book Room - you might find a bargain! Look on our website for our Recommended Last Posting Dates to receive orders before December 25th.
