Derek Tangye was a very well known author who lived in Cornwall for the most part of his life from the 1950s onwards. He wrote more than twenty books which became known as the Minack Chronicles - all about life on a flower farm situated between Penzance and Land's End.

Set within a stone throw of the Hay Castle this impressive venue will once again be a Food Arts and Crafts paradise when the Book capital of the World holds its annual Winter Food Arts Crafts Festival. The fun starts at 10am on Saturday the 28th with the Official opening and finishes on Sunday the 29th at 4pm.
