Almost very good condition with no wrapper. Colour pictorial boards, front cover shows two boys riding on camels. 4 colour plates, including frontis. B/w illustrations. First story is 'The Shepherd of the Air' by R.L. Garden. Corners are bumped. Chipping along cover and spine edges. Couple of small pieces of loss to top and tail of spine. Spine and covers are unevenly faded to edges. Erased pencil inscription in belongs to box (indentation marks can still be seen). Some grubby marks to pages and margins; also plates. Colour pictorial covers showing small cart with two young boys in being pulled by another. 4 colour plates, including frontis. First story is 'The Fool of the Drome' by Foster Wood. Wear, with a little chipping along cover and spine edges; covers are still very nice. Browning to endpapers, outer page edges and some page margins, with other foxing internally. Name and adress in pencil to belongs to box. A little foxing to edges of a couple of plates. A few hinges a little pulled. All colour plates are present. Spine and corners are bumped and worn. Chipping to cover edges and top and tail of spine. A few grubby marks to covers, with a few small scuffs. Front joint is cracked and becoming weak; webbing showing through. Some ink stamp marks to belongs to box and verso of frontis. Small tear to bottom of frontis.
