by Noel Streatfeild

Illustrated by Richard Kennedy

Published by Collins. 1st. 1957

Almost very good condition in a slightly better than good dustwrapper. Mrs. Wintle ran a dancing school where she trained troupes of girls who became known as 'Mrs. Wintle's Little Wonders. Mrs. Wintle's daughter was very talented but rather conceited and she feels threatened when jointed by her cousin Rachel and her adopted sister Hilary as Hilary proves to be talented dancer. Green boards, silver title to spine. B/w illustrations.

Spine and corners bumped and rubbed. Slight fading to board edges. Inscription in ink to front endpaper. Remains of label/bookplate (?) to front endpaper and smaller patch to rear endpaper. Heavy foxing to prelims and last couple of pages otherwise contents generally clean. Pictorial dustwrapper is edge worn and creased with some tears and small areas of loss. Number 8 written in ink to front flap. Foxing to flaps and verso. Two white labels stuck to verso.
