CALDICOTT PLACE
Illustrated by Betty Maxey
Published by Collins. 2nd. 1968
Very good condition in a almost very good dustwrapper. Only Tim was pleased when he was left a stately house in Sussex by an old lady. Here he thought his father could recover from the car crash in which he was badly hurt. But it is an enormous mansion, badly neglected and Tim's mother takes in three children with no where else to go. Red/orange speckled covers with silver title to spine. B/w text illustrations. 160 pages.
Spine and corners a little bumped. Ink scribble to top of front endpaper. Name in ink to title page. Couples of mark to edge of textblock otherwise contents are clean. Price cut dustwrapper has publishers new price sticker to front flap. Wrapper is edge worn with small tears and chips. Browning and a little foxing to verso.
