Slightly better than good condition. Brown cloth covers with bevelled edges and gilt titles. Black, partially embossed, decoration of children to front cover. One full page illustration plus two poems for each month of the year. Small format 6 x 4.5". Unpaginated. All edges gilt.
Spine and corners bumped and worn. Some loss at top and bottom of spine. Covers grubby and marked (damp?). Presentation plate to front endpaper. Front joint cracked. Hinge cracked. 6 of the illustrations have been neatly coloured in. A few marks/grubby fingermarks to contents.
