Good condition. Original Series. Yellow pictorial boards. Price One Shilling to front pastedown inside box advertising number 2 in the series. B/w illustrations. Rear pastedown advertises Rupert and The Black Dwarf. Price in black circle on back cover.
Original backstrip has been replaced/repaired with cardboard and yellow tape. Loss from top of spine. Wear to base of spine, cover edges and corners. 1 written in pen to spine. Covers are slightly grubby with colouring to vignette on rear cover and faint writing above. Joints and hinges cracked, some badly, causing some of contents to feel a bit loose. Title page is present but detached. Colouring to quite a few illustrations and some other marks to contents. 1928 in pencil to rear pastedown.
