Almost very good condition in a slightly better than good dustwrapper. Those daring young men in their jaunty jalopies. Based on the Paramount film of the same title, this remarkable rally is seen in turn through the eyes of the principal participants and in the last stages, a commentator. Pink boards, gilt title to spine. Humorous b/w and colour illustrations.
Spine and corners bumped. Three small dents to lower edges of covers. Faint black line to front cover and a little fading to lower edge. Light page edge browning. Foxing, mostly to endpapers, prelims and text block. Price-cut dustwrapper is edge worn, torn and chipped with a little loss. Also spine lightly browned, a bit grubby and foxed.
