Very good condition in a slightly better than good dustwrapper. Bill Frankland gets caught in adventures so grim that even if he could have foretold them he would have laughed them away as preposterous. Green cloth covers with brown titles to spine. B/w illustrations. 229 pages.
Spine slightly bumped. Corners and lower edges a little worn. Foxing to top edges of covers. Bookseller's sticker to front pastedown. Name in ink to front endpaper. Foxing, heavy to prelims, otherwise mostly to page edges and last couple of blank pages. Dustwrapper is edge worn and torn with some loss from top front panel/spine area. Small red stamp to front flap, rear panel slightly grubby. Foxed.
