THE PRETTY POLLY PICTURE BOOK

Almost very good condition. Brown cloth spine. Gold pictorial front board shows parrot, red title. Advertisement on rear board. 3 colour plates. B/w and two tone illustrations. 128 pages. Endpapers by Maybank. First article: Big Bears and Little Bears.

Cloth on spine is split for approx. 3.5" from base on rear side. Corners, spine and cover edges bumped and worn. Lots of scratches to front cover and pencil doodles to rear cover. Some browning to endpapers, front endpaper is torn along front joint for 2.5". Ink inscription to verso of front endpaper. One hinge cracked. A few brown marks to prelims, rest of contents very good.
