SON OF RHUBARB
Illustrated by Leo Hershfield
Published by Trident Press. 1st. 1967
Very good condition in a slightly better than good dustwrapper. A cat story. Rhubarb was a cat of many parts and he kept all of them busy; not only did he hate and terrorize dogs and indulge in primitive pursuits that take place in the dark of the night and are better not described, he also owned and managed a big-league baseball team and provoked both romance & skulduggery wherever he traveled. What he didn't know was that he sired a kit who was to grow into his spitting image. A hilarious courtroom drama set in New York. Beige cloth, red title to spine. B/w chapter headers and text illustrations. 275 pages.
Minimal bumping to spine. Foxing to top edges of covers and text block. Small patch of crossing out to front endpaper. Dustwrapper is edge worn with some creasing and chips. A little loss from either end of spine. Clear tape stuck to base of spine on verso. Wrapper a little scuffed and foxed.
