Very good condition in a almost very good dustwrapper. Series 538. Light blue pictorial paper boards. (One of the rarest Ladybird books, and the only one in this series!) Horace the horse is weary of pavements and towns and makes for the spaces and slopes of Devon.
Spine bumped and a little worn. Corners and some cover edges worn. A little wrinkling to front cover. Five very small patches of surface paper damage to rear cover. Name, inscription and date in ink to top of title page. A couple of small marks/fingermarks to contents otherwise very good. Dustwrapper is edge worn and creased with a couple of small tears. Wear to folds and rear panel is marked and a bit grubby.
